Due to a fire affecting the building overnight 11^th – 12^th May 2009 the pub is closed until further notice.

Prompt & professional action by our staff and very good reaction from our customers meant that everyone got out of the pub safely and without injury. Well done everybody.

We understand the emergency services were able to deal with the situation without injury to themselves, so a big “thank you” to all of them for their efforts.

We will update here the progress on the repairs and the planned re-opening date.

10^th June 2009:

Most of the clean-up operations will complete this week and reconstruction will start next week.

28^th June 2009:

Reconstruction on schedule – planning to be back open during August 2009 (actual opening date will be announced here)

The Disco is open upstairs every Thursday, Friday and Saturday with DJ's Bull & Jean-Luc  - no entrance charge !  DJ's Mathieu, Cedric & Roy are in the downstairs bar 7 nights a week from 11pm (a bit later when following on from Live Music).

Our prices are the same or lower than 'normal' bars that offer you nothing more than a seat. 

Our prices are the same (great value), upstairs and downstairs every day of the week (including Saint Patrick's Day and New Year's Eve). 

Many bars have savagely increased prices over the past few years – breweries have increased prices by 21% from January 2003 through to 2009. We are one of the very, very few remaining bars that have not taken part in the great € rip-off …… our prices to you are the same ( or less! ) than we charged pre-€ in October 2001. 

Our normal prices always offer excellent value for money, but our Happy prices are just amazing - you could try elsewhere but why pay far more for much less?

Every day in Celtica, from 1pm until midnight, you can drink at what must be the cheapest prices outside the supermarkets with our fantastic Happy prices on bottled drinks. Pay only €1 for bottles of Maes, Blanche or Stella Artois, only €2 for bottles of San Miguel, Budweiser Budvar, Corona, Heineken, Strongbow Cider, Eristoff Ice/Blue or Bacardi Breezer. If you’re in town for the Belgian beers then we have Happy prices on those too, every day from 1pm until midnight, with bottles of Duvel, Westmalle , Chimay Bleu, Vedett, Leffe , Palm, Rodenbach, Lindemans Fruit Beers or Orval available for only €2. If, like me, you prefer beer from the tap we also offer Maes on draught at €1 a half or €2 a pint from 1pm until midnight every day!

 We have Belgian local TV plus Irish and English satellite TV available so you can catch all your favourite sporting events at Celtica on one of our three Big screens. Celtica Brussels opens at 13:00 daily. We close at around 05:00 (or later) the next morning Sunday to Wednesday nights, 06:00 Thursday nights and 07:00 (or later) Friday and Saturday nights.
